Ingredients

  • 2 medium turkey breast
  • 500 ml of any meat broth
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 medium lemon (peel)
  • 1 fennel onion (optional)
  • a few sprigs of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • several tarragon leaves, tarhuna (optional)
  • salt, pepper to taste

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. Grate the turkey fillet with salt and pepper. Onion, carrot and fennel to clean, grind. Wash the greens and chop, grate the lemon.
  2. Heat the butter and vegetable oil in a frying pan, fry the breast from all sides on high heat for about 10 minutes. Fill the breast with a hot broth, add chopped vegetables, cover the frying pan with a lid and cook over a small fire for 40-50 minutes.
  3. Remove the frying pan from the fire, add salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with chopped herbs and spices. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Spread the stewed turkey on plates, sprinkle with sauce and serve with vegetables.
