  • 120-130 g rice
  • 60 grams of dried apricots
  • 1 small quince or half medium 50 grams of pulp)
  • 30 grams of raisins
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or sugar (to taste)
  • 25 gr of butter
  • salt to taste

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. Rice pour into boiling salted water (350 ml) and cook for about 20 minutes after boiling on low heat. After that, cover the pan with a lid and set aside.
  2. While the rice is boiled, prepare the rest of the ingredients. Pour dried apricots with raisins boiling water and leave for 10 minutes, then drain the hot water and dry the dried fruit with a napkin.
  3. Quince the seed and peel, cut the flesh into small cubes. Dried apricots also cut into small pieces.
  4. In a frying pan, boil about 50-70 ml of water and put a quince there. Stew it for 3-5 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly, until soft.
  5. When almost all the moisture is boiled off and the quince becomes soft, add a piece of butter and mix.
  6. Add dried fruits, sugar / honey and mix.
  7. Cook all the fruits on low heat, stirring with a spatula, for another 4-5 minutes.
  8. After this, pour rice into the frying pan and mix. Cook another 1 minute, stirring constantly, on low heat and transfer to plates. Serve rice porridge with dried apricots to a hot table. Bon appetit!
