Ingredients

Potato dough for consume:

  • 1 kg of potato
  • 80-100 gr of hard cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. sour cream of any fat content
  • 4 cloves of garlic

Cabbage filling for meals:

  • 300 g of cabbage
  • 2 tbsp . tomato paste
  • a few branches of greenery (can be dried)
  • salt, pepper to taste

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. Cabbage chop, in a frying pan heat a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. Stew cabbage for about 3-5 minutes, then add the tomato paste and mix thoroughly. Pour a couple of tablespoons of clean water, mix well and continue to simmer for another couple of minutes.
  2. Then add crushed or dried greens, salt, pepper to taste. Stew, stirring, until ready for another 1-2 minutes.
  3. Peel potatoes and put them in a saucepan with boiling salted water. Cook after boiling for about 25 minutes. Zaemm drain the water and carefully mash potatoes in puree. Garlic clean and crush in garlic crockery, add to the saucepan with mashed potatoes.
  4. Grate the cheese on a fine grater, also add to the potatoes and mix well. Add the chopped dill, salt and pepper to taste, thoroughly knead the potatoes until smooth.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and grease it with vegetable oil, preheat the oven to 160C. From the resulting potato mass (1 tablespoon), form small cakes.
  6. Put about 1 tablespoon into each center. fill it with a potato cake of the same size and connect its edges to the bottom. Lay the potato starter blanks on the baking sheet.
  7. In a small container, hammer in the egg, add sour cream, salt, pepper, a little greens and beat together with a fork or whisk until smooth. Using a silicone brush, grease the surface of the cutlets with the liquid and send them to a preheated oven.
  8. Potato zrazes are cooked in the oven for about 10 minutes. When the surface blushes – remove the baking tray from the oven and leave it for a few minutes. Transfer the cutlets to a dish and decorate to your taste.
  9. Serve potato zrazy with cabbage hot as a main dish. Bon appetit!
