Recipe for cooking at home

  1. Peas thoroughly rinse and pour water. Leave for the night to swell. The next day, drain the water and pour the peas into a saucepan. Pour it with water and put it on the fire. Bring the pea porridge to a boil, remove the foam and reduce the heat. Cook at low boil for 45 minutes. 5 minutes before the end of cooking pea porridge, onions and carrots cleaned. Onion cut into quarters, grate the carrots.
  2. Pour the pan off the fire and drain the excess water (cover it completely and drain the water through the hole). Salt the pea porridge to taste and add the spices.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and pour in onions. Fry it until soft, for 2 minutes, add the carrots and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  4. Spread the pea porridge on plates and serve, having topped the fried carrots with onions.
