Ingredients

Kefir pie dough:

  • 400 g of flour
  • 250 g of kefir
  • 1 egg (yolk only)
  • 3 tbsp. sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • half a hour. soda

Cabbage filling for pies:

  • 300 g of fresh cabbage (white-headed)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tbsp. tomato paste
  • salt, pepper to taste

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. Combine kefir with sour cream, stir and warm to a slightly warm temperature (40C) in a water bath or in a microwave. Add vegetable soda, butter, salt, sugar, egg yolk to the kefir mixture and stir until uniform.
  2. Gradually add flour and sour dough into the sour cream mass. Put it in a bowl, greased with vegetable oil, cover with a light towel and leave for 15-20 minutes at room temperature. In the meantime, prepare the filling: onion and carrots clean, cabbage as possible Thin shred. Cut the onion into small pieces, grate the carrots on a large grater. & Nbsp;
  3. Heat 3 tbsp in a frying pan. vegetable oil, fry the onions in them on low heat until transparent. Add cabbage, grated carrots and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add tomato paste, salt, pepper, spices and stir at the end, cook for another 5 minutes under the lid. Remove the frying pan from the fire and set aside.
  5. divide the dough into equal sized balls and roll each into a cake 5-7 cm in diameter. Put a little stuffing in the center of each dough, tighten the edges of the dough tight and put the patties on the flour-poured table with a “seam” down.
  6. Fry the patties with cabbage filling for 2-3 minutes on each side on medium-high heat in a lot of oil. Transfer the finished products to wipes, so that they absorb the unnecessary fat. Serve pies with cabbage on kefir hot. Bon appetit!
