Ingredients

  • 0.5 kg of beef or pork tongues
  • 50 ml of vegetable oil
  • several feathers of green onions
  • 2-3 tablespoons pure water
  • 2 tbsp. rice cider vinegar (can be replaced with apple cider)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • half a hour. sugar
  • seasoning "hops-suneli" to taste
  • salt, black pepper to taste

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. The languages are rinsed and dropped into a pan with a lot of boiling water, add a bay leaf and a few peas of scented or black pepper. Boil the tongues with a gentle boil for 1.5-2 hours until cooked. Then drain the boiling water, pour the tongues with ice water and immediately remove the skin from them without taking them out of the water. Skin-free tongues completely cool, and then cut into thin slices or straws.
  2. Rinse and chop onion. Garlic clean and very finely chopped with a knife, combine in one bowl with tongue and mix. Leave the appetizer for 15 minutes at room temperature, and in the meantime prepare the marinade.
  3. In a separate container, mix pure water with vegetable oil, vinegar, soy sauce, salt, sugar, black pepper and spices. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce with a fork to get a completely homogeneous consistency.
  4. Add the snack from the tongue with the marinade, add the chopped green onion and mix again. Leave the marinated tongue for 6-8 hours in the fridge. After the specified time, merge the marinade and serve the marinated tongue to the table. Bon appetit!
