  • 1 kg chicken or any parts of it
  • 3 bulbs
  • 1,5-2 st .l. flour
  • 100 grams of tkemali sauce (you can replace the satchel)
  • 1-2 tomatoes
  • 150 g walnuts
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp hops-sunels
  • 1 tsp. cilantro
  • 1-2 bay leaves
  • salt, pepper to taste

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. Chicken meat, rinse, cut into medium pieces and put in a saucepan. Pour 3 liters of water, put on fire and bring to a boil. When it boils, remove the foam, cook on low heat for half an hour. Remove the chicken, take the meat from the bones and cut them into pieces, return the bones to the broth and continue to cook with the laurel leaves and 3 peas of black pepper.
  2. Fat removed from the broth during cooking is not discarded, and put in a large saucepan. Peel onion, finely chop and fry until it is clear in this fat. Add chopped chicken and fry for another 10-12 minutes. Pour in the flour, mix thoroughly and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Broth the bones from the bones through a strainer in a pan with chicken and onions. Cook over medium heat, stirring, 10 minutes. Meanwhile pour the tomatoes with boiling water for 2 minutes, shift for a couple of minutes in cold water, take off the skin and grate. Tkemali (if necessary) grind.
  4. Tomatoes or tkemali (satsebeli) for 3-4 minutes, together with chopped nuts, finely chopped garlic and ground pepper. Pour a few tablespoons of broth into the pan, stir and pour this mixture into the chicken from the chicken, mix.
  5. Sprinkle with coriander greens, salt to taste, let it simmer for a few more minutes and remove from heat. Cover with a cap and cover for 10 minutes. Spread on plates and serve, decorating to your taste.
