  • 50 ml of vegetable oil
  • 50 g of butter
  • 10 grains of fragrant or black pepper

  • salt, pepper to taste

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. liver to rinse, remove the film and cut out large ducts with a sharp knife. Cut the liver in large pieces.
  2. Pour the prepared liver with milk and leave for 2-3 hours (you can even overnight). Thanks to this procedure, the liver will become much softer, and the flavor is more pleasant.
  3. In a saucepan, boil water, add salt (1 tsp), add pea pepper, pour in the ground nutmeg and lower the liver (drain the milk). After repeated boiling, remove the foam from the broth and cook the liver for half an hour with a weak boil.
  4. Meanwhile, peel the onions and peel the onions, carrots clean and rub on a large grater. Fry the onions in 50 ml of vegetable oil on a low heat for about 3-5 minutes. After that, add grated carrots and simmer for another 7-10 minutes on a small fire, often stirring with a spatula.
  5. Skip the boiled liver with the vegetable fry (along with the vegetable oil remaining in the frying pan) through the meat grinder.
  6. Добавить мягкое сливочное масло (нужно заранее вынуть его из холодильника, чтобы оно подтаяло) и взбить блендером до нежной консистенции. Можно просто перемешать паштет с маслом ложкой.
