- 3 L of pure water
- 1 kg of mulberry
- 400 g of sugar
- 1/3 tsp citric acid or to taste
Recipe for cooking at home
- Silkwool should be cleaned, cleaned of the pedicels and thoroughly rinsed. Allow the berries to dry completely from water. In the meantime, pour clean water into the pan, put it on a fire and bring it to a boil. After boiling, add sugar to it and stir the syrup for 4-5 minutes stirring. Then send in a pan of pure mulberry berries and bring to a boil again. Boil the compote from the mulberry with a slight boil for about 10 minutes.
- At the end of the cooking, add citric acid, stir and remove from heat. Cover the pan with a lid, leave until completely cooled. Strain the completely cooled compote through a fine sieve and send for a couple of hours in the refrigerator for cooling. Serve the finished compote cold. Bon appetit!
