Ingredients

Dough for pie with sorrel:

  • 250 g of flour
  • 100 g of sour cream
  • 1 egg (+ 1 egg for lubricating the pie)
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • half a hour. salt

Oxalic filling for pie:

  • 200 gr of sorrel
  • 3 tbsp. l. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. starch

Recipe for cooking at home

  1. Sift flour through a sieve together with salt and sugar in a bowl, stir. In the center make a small groove and drive a raw egg there, mix it. Grate the oil on a grater and mix again. Gradually add the sour cream to the dough and knead it all to uniformity.
  2. Wrap the dough bowl with food wrap and leave it at room temperature for an hour. After the specified time, prepare the pie filling. The leaves of the sorrel should be washed, dried and cut into strips with a thickness of about 5 mm.
  3. Pour the sorrel with boiling water and leave for a few minutes before cooling. Mix sugar with starch in a small container. Form a baking dish or a baking tray with high sides to grease with butter and sprinkle with flour, lay out 2/3 of the test. Sprinkle the dough with a starch-sugar mixture (about 1.5 tablespoons) and lay the sorrel, sprinkle it with the remaining sugar mixture. The remaining dough is rolled out, cover the pie with it. To connect and protect the edges of the upper and lower layers of the dough. Egg whisk with a fork and grease them with a pie, make a small hole in the center of the upper dough.
  4. Bake a pie with sorrel until golden brown for half an hour. Then remove the mold and leave it to cool for a few minutes. Sorrel cake tasty and hot and cooled. Bon appetit!
